The Masked Singer judges Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross were left stunned as the identify of three celebrities were unveiled on Sunday’s lockdown special.

TOWIE star James Argent, 2016 Strictly winner Ore Oduba, and musician Chesney Hawkes showcased their vocal prowess as they belted their favourite tracks while under disguises.

Hosted by Joel Dommett and his wife Hannah Cooper, the one-off edition was aired from the cast’s homes as part of the presenter’s Home Alone show amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Kicking off the show with a bang, a participant dressed up in a teddy bear mask belted the lyrics to Tom Jones’ Sexbomb track, which the panel described as ‘sexy’.

Broadcaster Davina, 52, hit the nail on the head as she guessed the first celebrity was stage actor Ore, 34, while chat show host Jonathan, 59, suggested he was Marvin Humes.

Sporting a smiley face costume, the next contestant crooned Bob Marley’s Girl I Want To Make You Sweat, with comedian Jonathan joking the media personality ‘wasn’t someone blessed with good rhythm’.

Guessing another star correctly, brunette beauty Davina was convinced reality star James, 32, performed, while her fellow panelist believed he was funnyman Rob Beckett.

The final contender confused the duo with his rendition of Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears in a robot’s head, causing them to pick between Phillip Schofield and Jason Donovan, before eventually deciding it was Chesney, 48.

The English singer was ranked the pair’s favourite, followed by Ore in second place and Arg in the last position.

The reality show originated in South Korea and its success spawned similar shows across the world including the UK and the US.
