The Mandalorian fans spot a ‘guy in jeans’ in the background of a clip

It’s the Game of Thrones coffee cup all over again.

Season two of The Mandalorian in full swing but things didn’t go to plan for Mando, Dune and Carga in episode four, titled The Siege, which was released on Friday.

The trio was facing off with some Stormtroopers when an unexpected visitor appeared on the scene in the form of a random guy in jeans.

Oops! A random guy a T-shirt and jeans was spotted in the background of season two, episode four of The Mandalorian and fans hysterically reacted online

Eagle-eyed fans noticed the man in the background – wearing a T-shirt and jeans – and immediately took to good-naturedly roasting the show.

It’s easy to miss the blooper at first, since the background is pretty grey and he kind of blends in, but standing in the far left corner … there he is.

The man, who hasn’t been identified, is likely a rogue crew member who accidentally got into the shot – and decidedly not a new (casual) Stormtrooper uniform.

Fans reacted hilariously on social media after Friday night’s episode and were quick find the humor in the innocent mistake.

Did you see it? It's easy to miss the blooper at first, since the background is pretty grey and he kind of blends in, but standing in the far left corner ... there he is

‘Mandalorian sneaks in random guy wearing jeans and watch in background of latest episode. Love it,’ one fan tweeted.

Another asked: ‘So does the guy in the jeans return in any future episodes?’

‘Guy in jeans and gray T-shirt wearing a watch. A Storm Trooper just getting off his shift tries to avoid shoot out? It happens,’  joked a third.

Several fans were quick to compare the ‘guy in jeans’ to Game of Thrones’ epic ‘coffeegate’ when a disposable Starbucks cup was left in a shot – ironically also in episode four.

‘It may not be as bad as leaving a coffee cup on a medieval high table, but this episode had a pretty obvious mistake in it,’ one person penned, referencing the GoT faux pas.

In the 2019 GoT scene, a decidedly un-Westerosian cup was sitting at the table at Winterfell’s Great Hall as Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow and the united army of Wildlings, Unsullied and Dothraki warriors basked in their victory over the Night King.

The Mandalorian season three is currently gearing up – despite being in the midst of airing season two and not being officially greenlit.

Last week part of the set, which is being built in Manhattan Beach, California, was pictured nearly completed.

While season three has already been written but has yet to be given the greenlight, production is said to be around the corner, Deadline recently reported.

Pre-production on The Mandalorian season three has be going on ‘for months’ already and sources told Deadline that production will be kicking off possibly next week or ‘in late November/early December.’

However, there are also reports claiming production won’t begin until spring of 2021.

Deadline reported that the ‘confusion’ comes from the Lucasfilm side which operates under a thick veil of secrecy and that the nearer of the production start dates could actually be for a related series.

‘One explanation could be rumors that another Mandalorian-related project, I hear possibly a Boba Fett miniseries, would film first, starting next week, with The Mandalorian Season 3 following after a monthlong break,’ the outlet claimed.

The second season of The Mandalorian debuted late last month, with star Pedro Pascal returning as the titular character.

The show follows the adventures of The Mandalorian as he searches for a safe home for the adorable yet unnamed character fans have nicknamed ‘Baby Yoda.’
