Revealed: The likely rustic setting for MasterChef star Andy Allen’s wedding to glamorous fiancée Alex Davey

MasterChef judge Andy Allen confirmed his engagement to long-time girlfriend Alex Davey in May. 

And according to Monday’s TV WEEK magazine, the couple look set to wed at the chef’s own restaurant, Three Blue Ducks at The Farm in Byron Bay, New South Wales.

The 32-year-old TV personality has become a co-owner of the 32 hectare property, since winning the fourth season of MasterChef Australia back in 2012.

TV WEEK believe the lovebirds will tie the knot at The Orchard, an on-site venue perfect for hosting wedding ceremonies.

The reception will reportedly be held at The Blue Ducks Restaurant, offering idyllic views of the Byron Bay hinterland.  

Previous couples have made use of the nearby organic Macadamia Orchard, for capturing unique wedding photos.

According to their website, the restaurant offers ‘rustic charm’ in the form of a converted farm barn. 

‘Farm-style verandas’ are also available for wedding parties who are after something more intimate.

The wedding menu would no doubt feature exquisite wines and organic modern Australian contemporary fare.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Andy for comment.  

The cookbook author confirmed his engagement to Alex in a previous interview with TV WEEK.  

Andy proposed to the 29-year-old beauty during a romantic getaway in New Zealand earlier this year, before borders were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Andy previously told Farage that nothing has been handed to him on a silver platter.

‘Nothing just happens, you really do have to work for it,’ he said.

‘A simple piece of advice… do what you love. When you love it, you’ll put in more and more effort to make it as successful as possible.’
