The Big C actress and Broadway vet Phyllis Somerville dies at 76… after impressive career spanning 45 years
Celebrated actress Phyllis Somerville has passed away at the age of 76, her manager has confirmed.
Known for roles in dramas such as The Big C, House of Cards, The Good Wife, and most recently Hulu’s Castle Rock, Somerville was also an accomplished star of Broadway.
‘She was the consummate professional who lived her dream of being a working actress her entire life in NYC which spanned over 45 years,’ Somerville’s manager of over 28 years, Paul Hilepo said in a statement obtained by Entertainment Tonight.
He added: ‘I will miss her greatly. Her friends and colleagues will miss her greatly as well.’
