The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne reveals the secret to her incredible post-baby body – eight months after giving birth to daughter Marlie-Mae

She welcomed her daughter Marlie-Mae with fiancé Matty ‘J’ Johnson in June 2019.

And now, Bachelor star Laura Byrne has revealed the secrets to her incredible post-baby body.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 33-year-old said she keeps fit by exercising and taking her baby girl for a walk.

‘I have signed up to Fitness First which has a crèche onsite so I can nick in do a 45 minute workout while Marlie is being looked after’, she said.

She explained: ‘It’s really wonderful having 45 minutes to myself to get a work out in but also knowing Marlie is so close by.’

She continued:’I also think walking is one of the things you can do as a new mum, it’s great to get out of the house with bub in the pram and get some fresh air.’

Laura explained that she also stayed ‘active throughout her pregnancy, walking loads which really helped me to maintain some fitness.’

But she said she didn’t feel pressure to get back into shape straight away and wanted to spend time with her daughter.

‘I thought I would get back into exercise sooner than I did, but I realise now that I had pretty unrealistic expectations of myself.’

Laura also revealed the best tips she received throughout her pregnancy and said it’s important to understand that ‘everyone’s pregnancy is completely different.’

She explained: ‘My skin got so dry during pregnancy so one of the best things was having a bath with some Bio-Oil Skincare Oil in it, it helped massively.’

‘But one of the best tips I received was to try and block out most advice.’

She added:’Everyone has an opinion about the right and wrong way to do things and it can be really overwhelming for new mums.’

She said: ‘I think it’s important to seek out advice from people you know, respect and have your best interest at heart.’
