The Bachelor’s Bella Varelis savagely hits back at Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska after their shady remarks about Bondi influencers and Instagram blue ticks
The Bachelor runner-up Bella Varelis has one question for winning couple Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska: why are you so obsessed with me?
The 25-year-old hit back on Thursday after Locky and Irena, both 31, made some shady remarks about ‘Bondi influencers’ that were seemingly directed at her and fellow contestant Bec Cvilikas.
‘I’m unsure why they’re making references towards me and how I’m living my life, I have better things to do then make subtle digs towards an ex,’ she told The Wash.

‘I’ve moved on and so should they,’ she added pointedly.
The saga began on Monday when Irena appeared to take a subtle swipe at her former love rival during a chat with Daily Mail Australia.
When asked for her thoughts on Bella and Bec getting ‘blue tick’ verification on Instagram, the nurse said she didn’t care about such things.

‘I’m not about being an influencer, just about being real,’ she said.
Irena also clarified that she hadn’t received a blue tick herself yet for one simple reason. ‘I haven’t even applied for it,’ she said. ‘I don’t really care about it.’
Her telling remark came just days after fans noticed that Bella and Bec, who placed second and third respectively on The Bachelor, were verified on Instagram.
Some thought it was unusual that the aspiring ‘Insta models’ would get the blue tick before Irena, who actually won Locky’s heart on the show.
Just a day after Irena’s ‘influencer’ comment made headlines, Locky also seemingly alluded to Bella and Bec in an eyebrow-raising Instagram post.
He shared a photo from his ‘secret’ camping trip in the Hunter Valley with Irena, and couldn’t resist taking a dig at some of the fame-hungry stars from his season of The Bachelor who have flocked to a paparazzi hotspot Bondi Beach in recent months.
‘We have to have some secrets,’ he responded to a Daily Mail journalist in the comments section.
‘We’re not too keen on the whole Bondi vibe. Give us the mountains any day,’ he added, alongside a crying-with-laughter emoji.
Interestingly, both Bella and Bec live together in an apartment in Bondi Beach.
Last week, the couple revealed they had made their first trip to Bondi together, and admitted it wasn’t as good as they’d expected it to be.
In a video uploaded to Instagram at the time, Locky and Irena said the overcrowded beachside suburb, where many reality stars live, was not their scene.
