The Bachelorette’s Carlin Sterritt shares his top FIVE tips for the perfect at-home ab workout

He’s the hunky personal trainer who found fame after appearing on The Bachelorette in 2019.

And on Monday, Carlin Sterritt revealed five easy to follow tips to mastering the perfect at-home ab workout while in isolation.

The 30-year-old star, who’s known for his toned physique explained to achieve results you need to work your entire midsection.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the fitness fanatic, who is also a trainer at F45 crossfit gyms, added the key to an effective workout is mixing your workout tempos to shock your body.

Carlin then suggested exercises such as ‘bicycles and Russian twists’ help to create a diagonal plane of the body from shoulders to the opposite knee. 

The toned reality star, who has been working out at home and outdoors amid the coronavirus pandemic, also encouraged the use of resistance bands.

Following his time on The Bachelorette it was revealed he’s also a part-time actor and catalogue model.

Carlin has since moved in with Angie Kent and relocated east of Sydney after falling head-over-heels for each other on last year’s season of the Channel 10 show.

On March 23, Australian government restrictions forced all gyms to close to prevent the spread of COVID-19 – including F45.

Carlin is set to return to his job as a functional fitness trainer in the coming days following the ease of restrictions.

Carlin has also shared his top five tips to mastering the perfect at home-workout.

Carlin’s Top 5 tips to the perfect at-home ab workout 

 1. Give your WHOLE core area a complete workout

2. Make sure the exercises have a full range of tempos

3. Include rotational exercises

4. Practice extra resistance exercises

5. Remember to do isometrics (holds)
