The Bachelorette’s Becky Miles reveals she’s going to make 2021 ‘her year’

Becky Miles has had a rough trot of late.  

In November, she failed to find love as The Bachelorette, announcing her split from chosen beau, Pete Mann, just hours after the finale aired.

To make matters worse, the 30-year-old heralded in the New Year with a COVID-19 scare. 

But the bubbly blonde believes the worst is behind her, and she vows to ‘make 2021 [her] year’. 

‘Coming into 2021, I’ve had a cold/flu thing for about the last week (I did a Covid test so all G in that regard),’ she wrote in the lengthy Instagram caption. 

‘I’ve been feeling a bit off being out of routine but I’m back into it today and am going to make 2021 my year!’ 

She went on to say that she was planning to spend the day soaking up the sun in her hometown of Newcastle and enjoy a seafood dinner with her family.   

‘I’m feeling better, the sun is finally shining in Newcastle… I’m going to get some vitamin D, smash a healthy smoothie, gym, seafood dinner with the fam tonight and I’m sure life will feel a little brighter,’ she added. 

Accompanying the post, Becky shared an image of herself enjoying the sunny weather on a yacht. 

She looked casual chic in an all black ensemble featuring linen pants and long-sleeved crop top. 

Becky styled her blonde locks into a loose ponytail and flaunted her natural beauty with minimal makeup. 

Her positive attitude comes after Becky confirmed that she is dating Newcastle local, James Bevitron, following her split from Pete, 34. 

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph last month, Becky revealed that she might have found ‘The One’ in James. 

‘I have been hanging out with someone fantastic and it could be The One so I guess I am just really looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings,’ she said. 

Becky was savagely dumped by her winner Pete Mann, 34, via FaceTime just weeks after the Bachelorette finale was filmed.

Becky thought she’d found The One when she chose Pete as her winner during the most recent season of The Bachelorette, but it was short-lived – with the duo calling it quits just weeks after filming commenced.

Pete has since moved on with his former flame Rachel Evans, recently telling Daily Mail Australia that he is ‘head over heels’ for his new love.
