The Bachelor: Take a look inside the luxurious Pennsylvania resort where show is filmed

Take a look inside the elegant Pennsylvania resort this year’s Bachelor will be finding love in.

Matt James, who is the show’s first-ever Black Bachelor, will be searching for his soulmate at the palatial Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, a luxurious retreat located in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania.

The breathtaking, family-owned resort boasts a spa, a Forbes five-star restaurant, an art collection, and an array of lodging options designed for an upscale vacation experience.

So romantic: The Nemacolin Woodlands Resort will serve as the site of the next season of The Bachelor

In addition to the luxurious eateries and healing options available on site, an array of outdoor activities await guests.

Nemacolin guests can enjoy a round of golf on one of the two Pete Dye designed courses, clay shooting, fly-fishing, off-road driving, and even zip lining.

From the many amenities offered to sleeping arrangements, visitors will definitely be living in the lap of luxury during their stay at Nemacolin.

Pictures of the suites showcase the resort’s elegant eye for style, with various refined touches – including a chandelier – on display.

Filmed in the midst of a pandemic, the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is a departure from where the show is usually filmed, at the world-famous Bachelor Mansion in Los Angeles.

Teasers from the upcoming season show Matt meeting his suitors at the foot of the lavish resort.

This season is also breaking barriers, with Matt becoming the first Black lead in the show’s 18-year history.

Matt was initially cast as a contestant for Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette, but was elevated to leading man status before her season began filming in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Though he has not yet appeared on the show, many members of Bachelor Nation are already aware of Matt as a friend of fan favorites Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown.

An associate at CBRE who played football at Wakefield University, Matt also gives back to his community as the founder of ABC Food Tours, a non-profit which teaches underprivileged youth about healthy lifestyles and new restaurants in their area.

The Bachelor will premiere on ABC 8pm on January 4, 2021.
