Teddi Mellencamp shares sweet photos with her new daughter Dove a week after giving birth

She welcomed her third child with her husband Edwin Arroyave just a week ago. 

And Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is taking her followers through her postpartum. 

On Monday, the 38-year-old Real Housewives star shared sweet photos of her family with their newest addition, Dove, and gave fans a look at her first outdoor walk since giving birth.

In a series of photos, Teddi, Eddie’s, and their children daughter Slate, seven, and son Cruz, five, — and Eddie’s daughter from a previous marriage, Isabella, all cuddled up to newborn baby Dove.

She captioned it with a quote from Winnie the Pooh writing: “‘How do you spell love?” said Piglet. “You don’t spell it, you feel it.” said Pooh. #dovelove.’

With her baby on her chest, Teddi looked fresh face, with no makeup on for the selfie.

Since welcoming her third child, Teddi has been updating her 818k followers wih everything from her postpartum body to the baby’s schedule. 

And on Monday she shared a video of sleeping Dove and explained that the newborn ‘eats and 5 [a.m.] and sleeps until 7:30/8 [a.m.],’ giving Teddi the chance to ‘hang with the big kids in the morning before school.’

The mom of three said she is ‘loving our morning routine.’

Though with the struggles having a newborn could bring, she made sure to find the brightside.

Explaining in video, Teddi said Monday was the first day she was cleared for a a walk.

It’s not the first time she got real with her Instagram followers. Three days after welcoming Dove she gave a candid description of the ‘roller coaster’ of emotions and whirlwind few days she’s had in the hospital.

The Bravo star also shared a photo of her postpartum body as she switched from ‘mesh mom diaper’ to compression panties.

Firstly Teddi revealed she is feeling very much in love with her baby girl, as she began her Instagram post: ‘It is unbelievable, unconditional love. It is an incredibly powerful bond that Dove and I share. 

‘It is tears of joy watching Edwin light up when he’s with her. It is bursting with pride watching my older kids gently, lovingly & eagerly jump into their new found big sibling roles.’

Teddi and husband Edwin Arroyave also have a daughter Slate, seven and son Cruz, five. Edwin also has daughter Isabella, 11, from a previous relationship.

The daughter of musician John Mellencamp went on to describe her recovery and got candid about the changes to her body after the trauma of labor.

‘It is humbling, to say the least – switching from the mesh “mom diaper” with ice from the hospital to high waisted compression panties at home.’ she wrote. 

‘It is drinking way too much prune juice with crushed ice because you are anxiously awaiting the first post-baby [poop emoji]. It is embracing and loving this body of mine. It is lots of laughs when Cruz asks why my stomach hasn’t deflated.’
