Taylor Swift takes fans through her transformation into The Man in new making-of video

‘You check their boobs, and then their butt?’: Taylor Swift learns how to perv on a woman and adjust underpants in behind the scenes video of The Man

She recently debuted a brilliant new music video in which she played an entitled, cocky, man-spreading male executive.

And on Friday, pop star Taylor Swift shared a new video called Behind The Scenes: Becoming The Man, which gives viewers a glimpse of what went into her remarkable metamorphosis.

The amusing clip begins with sped-up footage of the grueling make-up process Swift, 30, had to go through each morning during the shoot, which she clocked at five hours.

Becoming the Man: On Friday, Taylor Swift premiered a making-of clip for her music video The Man, entitled Behind The Scenes: Becoming The Man

She said the process was ‘a joy,’ however, since she again got to work with the same gifted artist Bill Corso, who transformed her into a hideous zombie for her 2017 music video for Look What You Made Me Do.

‘I had no idea what they do to your body to make you look different,’ Taylor said while on set, explaining that she had to wear ‘muscle suits’ and various other accouterments — including something to hide/minimize her breasts — to portray a convincing man.

‘I don’t even want to tell you about it,’ she joked. ‘This is a family show.’

Taylor also recognized the team of professionals brought it to help her with the performance aspect of playing a man, once the physical make-up elements were completed.

She said she was ‘so stoked to have a movement coach,’ who helped her walk and behave like a man — even helping her learn how to properly check out women.

‘I never thought about how men walk,’ Swift observed. ‘It’s never been something that’s interested me before.’

‘And how to you check somebody out?’ she later asked near a camera on set. ‘You check their boobs, and then their butt?’

The most amusing part of the BTS video, however, comes when Taylor is shooting the subway car scene, where her ‘Man’ is man-spreading and carelessly smoking a cigar to the chagrin of neighboring passengers.

At one point, she has to ‘adjust’ herself as men are known to do, but Taylor admits she has no idea how to go about it — to the guffaws of all the extras and crew around her.

‘I’ve never adjusted my underpants like that,’ she reflects in the clip.

And after a couple takes in which the You Need To Calm Down hitmaker makes her best efforts at said adjusting, she breaks into laughter herself and asks, ‘Are we done?’

The music video for The Man, off Taylor’s smash hit seventh album Lover, dropped last Thursday and is visible on YouTube.
