Taron Egerton embraces the 80s look with a thick moustache as he continues to film Tetris in Glasgow

He resumed filming for the movie earlier this week following a break over the festive season. 

And Taron Egerton proved there’s no rest for the wicked as he continued to shoot scenes for 1980s-set Tetris in Glasgow on Thursday.

The actor, 31, plays entrepreneur Henk Rogers, who went through a laborious legal battle over the rights to the computer game in Russia.

Nailing the retro look, the Rocketman star sported a thick moustache while his hair was worn with a side-parting.

The Welshman cut a suave figure as he sported a longline grey coat, teamed with a three-piece suit.

Adding a pop of colour to his look, the Kingsman star rounded things off with a patterned scarf as he held onto a briefcase.

Taron was joined by crew on set, who sported protective face masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Tetris tell the story of Alexey Pajitnoc, a Russian programmer behind the addictive video game.

Directed by Jon S. Baird, the biographical film is currently scheduled to be released next year.

In December, it was reported that the movie remains partially un-cast, with the roles of real-life businessmen Robert and Kevin Maxwell and the game’s Russian creator yet to be filled. 

It came after Netflix cancelled one of Taron’s other projects, fantasy series The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance, after a single season.

The series served as a prequel to Jim Henson’s 1982 fantasy film The Dark Crystal, which has become a cult classic among fantasy fans in recent years.
