Tammy Hembrow alludes to coronavirus fears by promoting vegan protein shakes on Instagram – telling fans it’s ‘more important than ever to be taking your health seriously’

Instagram influencer Tammy Hembrow alluded to the spread of coronavirus in a sponsored post for Women’s Best protein shakes on Friday.

While she didn’t explicitly mention COVID-19, she hinted at the global pandemic in her caption.

‘More important than ever to be taking your health seriously! It’s never too late to start and once you do it becomes addictive cause it feels so damn good (drinking my @womensbest vegan protein here which I have about twice a day).’

The post was accompanied by two photos of Tammy wearing a cropped white T-shirt and skimpy gym shorts while holding a Women’s Best protein shake.

The 25-year-old businesswoman, who has 11 million Instagram followers, earns  $45,000 per month promoting the sports nutrition brand.

There are 161 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Australia as of Friday morning.

The World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus outbreak a pandemic this week after the global death toll reached 4,000.

It comes after Tammy confirmed her split from Canadian rapper Jahkoy Palmer after an on-again-off-again relationship. 

She said on the Hanging with the Hembrows podcast on Monday that she ‘doesn’t have a boyfriend’.

Tammy is a model and entrepreneur from the Gold Coast, best known for being the founder of activewear label Saski Collection.

She shares two children, son Wolf and daughter Saskia, with her ex-fiancé, Australian streetwear designer Reece Hawkins.

In addition to her business ventures, she is a popular social media influencer and YouTuber with 1.3 million subscribers.
