Tammin Sursok has given a positive update on her husband Sean McEwen’s Covid battle, 18 days after he tested positive for the virus. 

On Wednesday, the 37-year-old actress announced that Sean had been 24 hours ‘fever free’ for the first time in over 14 days, and said she hopes to reunite with him in the near future. 

‘First 24 hours fever free. Praise the lord!!! Thank you thank you thank you,’ she wrote.

‘My husband had a fever of 102-103 for 14/15 days. We haven’t seen him in 18 days. He’s been in one room for 18 days,’ she continued.

‘I’m hoping we can be reunited in the next day or two. Stay tuned…’ 

She also shared a touching image of her husband peeking out of the second story window to see their two-year-old daughter Lennon, which she captioned: ‘Play date’. 

Tammin said a day earlier that she believes her husband is now ‘on the good side of Covid’ but she isn’t sure how long the ‘post-viral part of the virus is going to last’.

She also revealed she and her daughters, Phoenix, six, and Lennon can now leave their house after quarantining for 15 days and testing negative three times.

Last week, Tammin tearfully announced that her husband, film producer Sean, had contracted coronavirus.

‘My husband has Covid and I’m scared. Today I’m not as scared as yesterday, but yesterday I felt very out of control,’ she said.

‘It was rough and touch and go. All the hospitals are full and his fever of 103 wouldn’t break for days and it got to a very scary place.

‘Covid is real. It’s scary and I now see it first hand. I’ve been really scared and in a dark place… I’m struggling and I love you all and this community.’

The former Home and Away star finished by urging people to ‘please wear a mask’, before saying: ‘This is not something you want to get.’

Tammin met her husband in 2007, when she was auditioning for his film Albino Farm. The couple married in 2011 in Florence, Italy.
