Strictly’s HRVY and Janette Manrara lark around in rehearsals

They made history on Saturday’s show with their perfect score and subsequently topped the leaderboard. 

And HRVY and Janette Manrara celebrated their success as they larked around in Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals on Tuesday.

The singer, 21, and professional dancer, 37, couldn’t contain their glee as they thanked fans for their support and burst into a fit of giggles.

Starting a video message shared to Instagram Stories, Janette said: ‘Hi team…’ to which HRVY, real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, interrupted with: ‘You hold it [the camera] really high, don’t you!’

To which the pro quipped: ‘Yeah, because it looks better!’, HRVY then jokingly snatched Janette’s phone and recorded a message with his head held down.

He said: ‘Hi team, how are you, thank you so much for voting for us’ with a giggling Janette protesting and snatching her phone back: ‘Where would you hold it?!’

With HRVY readjusting the camera to a lower level, he replied: ‘Not up there! Maybe here…?’

The result made history as it is the first time a contestant has got full marks for a routine on week six of the competition.

It comes after the remaining six celebrities’ songs and dances were revealed for this Saturday’s highly-anticipated Musical Week.  

Set for high drama, Bill Bailey and his partner Oti Mabuse will perform the Argentine Tango to the Phantom Of The Opera while Maisie Smith and her dance partner Gorza Marquez will storm the stage to Little Shop Of Horrors.

Last Sunday, fans said goodbye to DJ Clara Amfo, 36, and her pro partner Aljaz Skorjanec, 30, after they lost out in the dance-off to Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, 32, and pro Karen Hauer, 38, in a tense episode.

In this week’s episode, Maisie and Gorka are set to perform the Jive to the tune of the Little Shop Of Horrors from Little Shop Of Horrors, a 1986 Musical/Horror film about a bookish florist who purchases a blood thirsty plant.

After many successful weeks,  Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice will dance the Viennese Waltz to She Used To Be Mine from the West End and Broadway hit Waitress, which is based on the 2007 movie of the same name. 

Bill and Oti meanwhile will dance the Argentine Tango to the Phantom Of The Opera, from the 1986 musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber of the same name.

The 1975 musical features music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and a book by James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante and is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theater, the musical is centered on 17 Broadway dancers.
