Steven Spielberg wears a mask as he goes for a stroll with Kate Capshaw and her daughter Jessica

Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw spent some time catching up with her daughter Jessica Capshaw on Sunday.

The 73-year-old Oscar-winning filmmaker and the 66-year-old retired actress were seen going for a stroll near their home in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Kate’s daughter Jessica, 43, was accompanied by her entrepreneur husband Christopher Gavigan, 46.

Spielberg rocked a brown leather bomber jacket with dark jeans, teal tennis shoes and a black baseball cap.

His age put him at the greatest risk of serious Covid-19 complications, and he was the only member of his party wearing a mask, though Kate is also over 65 and at increased risk.

She seemed to have taken a page from Diane Keaton’s style book with her red velvet jacket, khaki slacks and a charcoal hat.

She had on a patterned scarf tied around her throat and wore a black Gucci belt.

Jessica, best known for her roles on The Practice and Grey’s Anatomy, looked cool in a navy jumpsuit with white sneakers, while Christopher wore a navy sweater and gray trousers as he pushed a pink stroller.

Jessica was born to Kate while she was married to her first husband Robert Capshaw, whom she was married to from 1976–1980.

It wasn’t clear who was in the stroller, but it may have been their three-year-old daughter Josephine, or Steven’s granddaughter Estee, who was born in 2018 to his son Max Spielberg.

Kate and Steven were previously seen pushing the same stroller on Thursday when they went out for a walk with director JJ Abrams and his wife Katie McGrath.

Despite the lack of masks for everyone but Spielberg, the blended family tried to social distance while walking.

Kate met her future husband when she starred opposite Harrison Ford in his film Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom, the 1984 sequel to his action–adventure hit Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

Spielberg had previously been in a relationship with the The Fury’s Amy Irving, and the two married in 1985, before separating in 1989 in what became one of the costliest divorces ever.

Kate and her former director reunited following his divorce, and the couple were married in 1991.

The actress would go on to have multiple roles throughout the 1980s and ’90s, though she retired from acting in 2001.

Though the Indiana Jones series has been one of Spielberg’s most successful film franchises, he announced earlier this year that he won’t return for an upcoming fifth installment.

Harrison Ford will return to play the eponymous archeologist and adventurer, but Ford V Ferrari and Logan director James Mangold is expected to fill the director’s chair.

Spielberg previously completed filming on a new adaptation of the musical West Side Story, which began its life as a 1957 Broadway musical with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, before being adapted for the screen in 1961.

This new adaptation features original castmember Rita Moreno, as well as Ansel Elgort and 20 Puerto Rican actors to give it a more authentic feel than the previous film.

It’s currently set to be released on December 18 in the US and UK.
