Sky broadband CRASHES for thousands of users across the country

  • Source of the outage remains unknown but it has affected people nationwide

Sky broadband appears to have crashed for thousands of users across the UK as part of what seems to be a mass outage.

Disgruntled users started reporting problems with their internet around 4:25pm GMT and outage tracking site DownDetector saw a peak in complaints if more than 2,000 shortly after.

The vast majority of issues were with accessing the internet, accounting for 95 per cent of all problems.

NowTV, the streaming service owned and run by Sky, also appear to be experiencing an unusually high number of user complaints.
