The music mogul, 61, looked carefree as he stood up on the boat to speed around the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean island with his son, six.
In August, Simon was rushed to hospital to undergo six hours of surgery after breaking his back in an electric bike accident, forcing him to cancel all his planned TV work for the rest of the year.

Simon made sure to protect himself and Eric during their fun ride out into the ocean as they both wore life jackets.
The X Factor judge as he donned a pair of black board shorts and aviator shades for the outing into the water.
Eric looked adorable in his green floral-print swimming trunks, as he held on tightly to the jet ski while his dad drove it at top speed.
