He’s been making the most of sunny weather during lockdown, enjoying regular outdoor workouts.

And Shia LaBeouf was out and about again on Wednesday as he took his newly-adopted dog for a walk, with the star seen carrying the pooch in his arms at one point.

The actor, 33, took precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic as he partially covered his face with a black and white bandanna.

A dog’s life: Shia LaBeouf was out and about again on Wednesday as he took his newly-adopted dog for a walk, with the star seen carrying the pooch in his arms at one point

Shia cut a casual figure during the outing, sporting a patterned white T-shirt and grey shorts.

The Transformers star teamed his casual outfit with a pair of sturdy walking boots, while he also shielded his face from the blazing sun with a black sports cap.

While out walking the dog, who he adopted with on-again love Mia Goth, 26, Shia at one point bundled the pooch into his arms.

Shia’s canine companion appeared very relaxed as he was carried by his Hollywood movie star owner.

Shia was without love Mia on the walk, of whom he is back together with two years after filing for divorce.

The couple tied the knot in 2012 and sought to legally end their marriage six years later.

The Holes actor confirmed he had reunited with Mia in March, when they were spotted putting on a PDA-packed display.

Meanwhile, last month Shia received harsh criticism from the screenwriting community after winning an award intended for up-and-coming talent, rather than established Hollywood stars.

The actor infuriated some undiscovered writers after he won the Sun Valley Film Festival’s High Scribe award late last month, according to The Wrap.

Shia’s award was intended to supporting emerging screenwriters who don’t yet have a foothold or significant connections in the film industry.

The win from an actor who’s starred in multiple blockbusters and previously wrote the acclaimed Honey Boy angered some of his fellow competitors.

‘Any “screenwriting competition” that awards its top prize to an established Hollywood screenwriter doesn’t deserve your $50,’ wrote screenwriter Kyle Andrews.

‘Not to take anything from the guy at all, he’s a great artist, but for a company to take money from hardworking, undiscovered screenwriters looking to break in and give their top prize to SHIA FREAKING LEBOUF is a level of b***sy I can’t begin to comprehend,’ he continued.

‘Honestly I’m kinda livid about this. I know how these companies operate, this was a choice. They’re thirsty for recognition because they can’t get it on their own, and I hope writers can see it.’
