On Friday, Shannon Noll updated fans on Instagram, revealing he was recently gifted a bottle of Australian made Methanol Moonshine.
The 44-year-old took a selfie with the large bottle, claiming the strong alcohol spirit ‘didn’t last long’.

It comes after Shannon and his family packed up their home in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire for life in the countryside.
The Australian Idol runner-up, 44, revealed his family’s decision for a ‘tree change’ in a video to his Instagram followers in May.
‘We’re having a tree change. We’re moving out to an acreage on the outskirts of Sydney,’ he said in the clip, adding that he was excited to be able to have farm animals and a vegetable patch.

Shannon also shared photos of his family on their first day at their new home.
He appeared very content as he carried his one-year-old son Colton alongside his wife Rochelle.
Their three teenage children – sons Cody, 19, and Blake, 18, and 14-year-old daughter Sienna – also joined in on the photo as well as one of their horses.

Country life appears to be a perfect fit for the six-time ARIA award nominee who hails from the small country town of Condobolin in New South Wales.
Prior to his life-changing audition for Australian Idol in 2003, Shannon was raised on his family’s farm where they had sheep, cattle and grew cereal crops.
Shannon’s move to the countryside comes after a tumultuous few years that saw him plunge into depression as his personal and professional issues come to light.
In October 2018, Shannon avoided conviction when he was caught with 0.53 grams of cocaine and was handed a one-year good behaviour bond.

This incident came after he was arrested for assaulting a bouncer outside of the Crazy Horse nightclub in Adelaide in 2017, before the charges were later dropped.
He told Daily Mail Australia last year: ‘Lucky for my family, without them I don’t know where I would have been or what could have happened in all honesty.’
