Australian singer Shannon Noll isn’t letting his time in self-isolation stop him from enjoying his outdoor sports.

On Sunday, the 44-year-old Australian singer shared a hilarious photo of himself ‘fishing’ in his backyard pool.

‘This is as close as I could get to camping and fishing on the river this year,’ he wrote underneath the photo. Before he cheekily added: ‘Surprisingly I didn’t catch much!’

In the photo, the laid-back singer was seen holding a fishing rod up and posing for the camera while he appeared to be fishing in his pool.

Shannon appeared to be relaxed and dressed for comfort in a white printed T-shirt, black shorts, a hat and flip flops.

To prevent the further spread of COVID-19, new government regulations require all Australians not to leave their homes for non-essential reasons. Unfortunately for Shannon, this also includes fishing and camping.

Shannon recently revealed he’s fitter than ever, after he underwent major spinal surgery in August in an effort to help him deal with ‘chronic back pain’.

In February, the former Australian Idol star shared footage of his bulging biceps during an intense workout.

‘It’s been a long road but I’m feeling strong again,’ he told his Instagram followers.

He continued: ‘I’ve been training really hard for the last six months after my major spinal surgery to try and strengthen my body up and try and feel complete again.’

In the video, Shannon – who came second place on the first season of Australian Idol, after losing to Guy Sebastian – is seen doing a repetition of four bicep curls.

While it’s unclear how much weight the singer was pressing, it sure had him working up a sweat.
