Talking to MailOnline in an exclusive interview, the realtor, 40, teased that viewers will hear something from Netflix ‘pretty soon’.

Mary also revealed that she still ‘doesn’t talk’ to former BFF and co-star Christine Quinn despite ‘patching things up’ after their turbulent friendship was shown on series three.

Teasing series four, which is yet to be announced by Netflix, Mary said: ‘I’m not allowed to confirm anything yet… but I will say that I think everybody can expect a series four.

‘Everything has just been delayed because of Covid restrictions with filming but season three did so well. I think you guys will hear something from Netflix pretty soon!’

The show follows the LA real estate market and The Oppenheim Group, run by brothers Jason and Brett – they sell multimillion dollar properties to the rich and famous of California. Although Brett has since left and started his own brokerage.

Talking about what has changed since series three, Mary said: ‘None of us really, I guess, talk to Davina [Potratz] or Christine too much.’

Talking further about her strained friendship with Christine, which was documented on series three, Mary added: ‘Christine and I have patched things up a little bit but we still don’t talk. We’re just not best friends anymore.

‘Covid has obviously prohibited us from being in the office and having face-to-face time, which makes it easier.’

Mary also admitted that she was ‘so nervous’ about reaching out to Christine after their fallout and decided to do so after the realtor admitted she was ‘disappointed’ over how her wedding was shown on Selling Sunset.

Christine married her millionaire tech husband Christian Richard in December 2019 at Cathedral of Saint Vibiana, downtown Los Angeles, where she wore a black wedding dress. It was shown on series three.

Mary said: ‘God, I was so nervous. But I saw an article she had put out and it was about the wedding and how disappointed she was, how it was portrayed.

‘I had just gone through doing my wedding on the show too, I understood points of what she was saying but I also know Christine, she can be a bit of a loose cannon.

‘I wanted to try and put things into perspective and calm her down before she blew. I extended an olive branch, I called her, I sent her a text first.

‘I said, “Listen, I know how you’re feeling but please keep this in mind, this isn’t the Christine show. Just like it’s not the Mary show. So although your wedding day is your wedding day, it’s not the entire show.”

‘I get where she is coming from but she was upset that they showed the girls arguing and things that weren’t just her, the whole wedding wasn’t shown as much as she wanted it to be but I was like: “You had your day and that’s what is important.”

‘It was shown on Netflix, who can say that? So focus on the positives not on the fact they also showed side bits of what was happening at the wedding that  you weren’t even aware of. It never affected you.

‘She understood, then we FaceTimed and had a long conversation, tried to dig into where things went wrong, where we have both been hurt, it helped, it definitely helped, we ended on a good note.

‘We’ve text maybe two times since and that was probably a good five months ago though, we don’t really talk that much but we ended on a good note.

‘I don’t think we’re going to be nearly as close as we were before, there has been damage done and I’m just waiting to see if I can fully trust her again… but we’re as good as we can be.’

Mary added that she doesn’t have ‘time or energy’ for drama, saying that she just wants a ‘peaceful’ friendship with everyone that she works with.

She said: ‘I don’t normally just hang out with or be in love with people who cause drama in my life, so if there’s a way to fix it, that’s what I want to do!’

Mary added that it can sometimes be ‘difficult’ filming Selling Sunset as you get your ‘feelings hurt’ by seeing what people say about you behind your back.

She said: ‘I think that is what makes it difficult. Normally, you don’t get to see what people are saying behind your back, you don’t get to see, when we do interviews you don’t get to hear what people are saying and responding to about that too.

‘It keeps everything amped up and i think we get our feelings hurt sometimes because you see what someone said. You’re like, wait a minute, we just had a conversation, you said completely the opposite and you would never say that.

‘I just watched you say it, what is happening? I think it’s strange, we’re all wrapping our minds around it, this is all new for us too… I think come to series thee we were all a lot more comfortable and we knew what to expect.

‘But it is still difficult to watch people talk about you and realise that your relationships aren’t exactly what you thought they were.

‘It can also go the other way too, where you see people stand up for you and you see when people have your back too. It goes both ways.’

Elsewhere, teasing what else fans can expect from series four, Mary revealed that it’s likely a lot of Heather Rae Young’s wedding preparation to Tarek El Moussa will be shown.

She said: ‘Heather got engaged, she and Tarek are such a cute couple. I’m just so excited for her too. She’s planning a wedding, Chrishell and I have been involved in some of the wedding stuff.

‘I think we’re going out again in about a week to help her, I think you’ll see a lot of that on series four.’

The star also revealed that Brett is still going to be a part of the show after co-star Christine revealed that he had left the Oppenheim Group last year, which he shared with twin brother Jason, to start his own brokerage.

Mary said: ‘It’s not really changed anything because we still work with him all the time. He’s still very much a part of our group, our family, our friends and we still see him in the office. He still comes in because we’re all a big family.’

She added: ‘We still see him all the time, he’s still going to be a part of the show. We’re constantly with him!’

Mary also revealed that despite the global coronavirus pandemic, she has had her ‘best year ever’ as the housing market is ‘on fire’.

The star explained that the Oppenheim Group are still able to do showings, but they have to wear masks, gloves and make viewers sign waivers that they understand the risk of going into someone else’s home.

Talking about how series four filming could be impacted by the pandemic, she added: ‘I don’t know for sure how they would have to do it, I know from when Chrishell did Dancing With The Stars, you have to get tested I believe every two days.

‘The whole crew, everybody. It’s a very expensive process to be able to film, very time-consuming to make sure you’re following all the regulations.’

She added: ‘[There will probably be more] individual scenes, I’m sure they would probably just do smaller groups of us, not as many parties and stuff like that, just make sure we’re being sensitive to what is going on!’

Mary is also keeping busy as one of many Hollywood stars who work with Thrillz, a site that allows fans to commission personalised video messages from celebrities.

The star is set host a Zoom event with her co-star and best friend Amanza Smith on 31 January which will give fans a chance to ask the stars questions.

Talking about the event and working with Amanza, Mary said: ‘We’re very excited, talking with Amanza is always hilarious I don’t think that people get to see our interactions with each other much on our show.

‘But every time we do some sort of an interview or something together, it’s just pretty funny just because we amp each other up and just talking, we get off track.

‘We’ve just been best friends for so long. So we just have an interesting connection with each other!’
