Sean Penn cuts a casual look as he joins model daughter Dylan Frances for lunch at Nobu Malibu

Sean Penn has recently been doing his part to help Los Angeles recover from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

And the two-time Academy Award winner is enjoying his SoCal favorites as businesses begin to reopen.

He cut a casual chic dad look Wednesday as he joined his model daughter Dylan Frances Penn for lunch at Nobu Malibu during a break from quarantine.

The 59-year-old donned an army green bomber jacket, which he paired with a khaki button-down shirt. 

He finished the ensemble with some beige denim pants and a pair of matching suede shoes. 

Sean took precautions against COVID-19 as he waited with Dylan, 29, outside at the valet stand.

She put on a lovely display in a mid-length black printed dress with a matching faded black denim jacket.

The Elvis & Nixon star completed the look with a pair of black leather Doc Marten boots, while carrying a white leather handbag over her shoulder. 

Sean opened up last week on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern about his reputation for being difficult to work with.

He said: ‘Actors are kind of canaries in the coal mine emotionally, and you have to go to whatever place is necessary inside yourself. 

‘If you don’t have somebody there who at least respects that — most of what I was referring to is that the arrogance goes further than charm.’

The Milk actor added: ‘I am aware that I can be a difficult person to like from afar, often. I sometimes think I have a great love affair with humanity but not too good with humans.’ 

He’s recently been providing free COVID-19 testing in Los Angeles and other cities, through his nonprofit CORE. 

Sean said of offering tests amid nationwide Black Lives Matter protests: ‘It’s a shame that it happened during a pandemic, but both testing and protesting are essentials right now. We can’t lose this moment.’
