He has faced widespread criticism for his violent on-screen encounters with female recruits on SAS Australia.

And Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins, 33, is now facing bombshell claims from behind-the-scenes, after an insider claimed he was ‘difficult to work with’ while filming the Channel Seven show.

Speaking to New Idea magazine on Monday, the source said of Nick: ‘He likes to do things his way… And he hates doing interviews or talking to the media, so it’s a nightmare for publicity.’

The spy also claimed that Nick had ‘a habit of ignoring producers, which you just cannot do.’

When approached for comment, a representative for Nick told Daily Mail Australia: ‘There no need to comment on complete rubbish that doesn’t deserve a comment. New Idea has No Idea.’

The bombshell allegations come just days after fellow recruit, former Love Island star Eden Dally, claimed that Nick was ‘the most difficult to live with’ while appearing on SAS Australia.

‘Mainly because he wouldn’t stop farting!’ the 28-year-old reality star mused.

Eden’s feedback came just days after Roxy Jacenko also complained about Nick’s behaviour on the show, telling The Kyle And Jackie O Show that Nick ‘took a pee’ in front of all of the contestants when there wasn’t a toilet close by.

Nick also landed himself in hot water with viewers over extremely competitive behaviour towards female recruits on SAS Australia.

Viewers were up in arms during the show’s season premiere when Nick went up against Sabrina Frederick in a boxing match.

Despite his initial hesitation to fight the 23-year-old AFLW player, Nick didn’t hold anything back, punching his opponent ferociously.

Days later, Nick sparked controversy once again when he tackled swimmer Shayna Jack to the ground during a game of murder ball.

Many felt that the former rugby union player was too heavy handed with the 21-year-old, and vented about the incident on social media.
