SAS Australia: Eden says not all of Firass’ behaviour was shown on TV

‘He’s tough’: SAS Australia’s Eden Dally says Firass Dirani’s worst incidents weren’t shown on TV – but praises the actor for enduring the punishments

Firass Dirani has been portrayed as the troublemaker on SAS Australia, with his bratty behaviour often resulting in group punishments.

But it seems Eden Dally was impressed by his co-star’s resilience, after he was repeatedly disciplined by the DS, or directing staff, for his bad behaviour.

Eden, 29, told Daily Mail Australia that several incidents weren’t even shown on TV, adding: ‘Firass got hammered by the DS a couple of times for his smart a** antics’.

The former prison guard explained that despite regularly getting called out by the directing staff, Firass ‘never really threw it in and he kept going’.

‘He had a really carefree attitude. I’ll give him credit for that,’ Eden laughed.

And while his fellow recruits were punished for his insubordination at times, the former Love Island star said Firass was still popular on set.

‘I don’t think everyone hated him [Firass], but a a few people did get annoyed with him,’ he said. ‘I’ll give it to him though, I must say he’s very tough.’

‘He got on a few people’s nerves with some of the things he used to do and being a little annoying and getting us into trouble – he was definitely rubbing people the wrong way.’

Firass has been called out for his behaviour several times on the reality show.

Last week, Firass was overheard by the directing staff saying he couldn’t wait to get into the freezing cold water.

Ant Middleton then delegated his punishment to Shayna Jack, who had to decide if everyone should have to submerge themselves in the icy water or just Firass.

Ant then instructed Firass to ‘get in the water up to your f**king neck’, prompting him to rip off his beanie and go running into the freezing river.

‘One person is f**king up the whole team’s dynamic,’ Ant told the other recruits, as Firass sat in the water by himself.
