Ryan Dorsey decorates Christmas tree with son Josey… as Naya Rivera tribute raises over $74K

Stumptown actor Ryan Dorsey blasted the year 2020 while decorating the Christmas tree with his son Josey Hollis in Los Angeles on Saturday.

‘#HappyHolidays to all,’ the West Virginia-born 37-year-old – who boasts 171K Instagram/Twitter followers – wrote.

‘You, you, and even you, all of ya. Hope you get nothing but happiness! Except you. I’m talking to you, 2020. #f***2020’ 

Ryan and his five-year-old boy picked out a real tree in an attempt to keep the holiday merry five months after the July 8 accidental drowning of his ex-wife, Glee alum Naya Rivera.

The cherubic child donned a Santa hat as he dug into a large trunk filled with Christmas ornaments and strings of lights.

Little Josey continued to showcase his moves in a quick Instastory of himself dancing to Kurtis Blow’s 1990 song Rappin’ in the mirror.

Dorsey was married to Josey’s 33-year-old mother for three years until their 2018 divorce amid allegations of her domestic battery.     

The on/off couple famously married in Cabo San Lucas before 12 guests on July 19, 2014 – the same exact day Naya was scheduled to wed her ex-fiancé Big Sean before their split.

On November 17, Ryan filed a wrongful death suit claiming Ventura County responsible ‘because the pontoon boat Rivera and her son boarded in Lake Piru did not comply with safety standards.’

26 other people have reportedly drowned in the 130ft-deep man-made reservoir known locally for unpredictable currents and bad whirlpools.

Last Friday, the SAG Award winner’s Glee castmates set up a SNIXXMAS Charity Drive in her memory, which has raised over $74K from a $100K goal for Alexandria House.  

‘The connection I feel with [Alexandria House] and the people who reside and work there has been the biggest blessing and made such a huge positive impact on myself and my son,’ Naya previously said of the charity.

‘We truly have found a home away from home through the time we spend volunteering there.’

It’s unclear if Rivera’s 26-year-old sister Nickayla is still under the same roof as her son and Dorsey, who defended the ‘temporary’ co-habitation in a September 29 Instastory.  

‘[Josey] asked me if Titi can live with us,’ The Rookie guest star explained at the time.

‘”I want Titi to live with us forever,” because she’s now the closest thing he has to a mom. You’re going to need all the help you can get as a single parent trying to build your career and navigate this disaster with your child.’

Ryan will next guest star as Eddie in this Thursday’s episode – titled ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ – of the ABC action drama Station 19 about Seattle firefighters.
