Asked about storylines, the former Packed to the Rafters star said: ‘I can’t tell you any of those things.’

House of the Dragon will premiere on Binge on August 22.

The action-fantasy series will be Ryan’s first step into event television on a global scale.

Meanwhile, Ryan revealed what it was like to film the ten-part epic that reportedly cost AU$28.5million an episode.

‘When I first got there, I was chucked in boxing gloves and given a sword,’ he said.

‘There’s 13 action men and you’re throwing one over the table. So we had huge amounts of stunts training.’

The handsome 33-year-old, who plays Ser Harwin Strong in the show, said fans can look forward to a much ‘warmer’ atmosphere than Game of Thrones.

Set 200 before the much-loved original epic, Ryan shared that House of the Dragon’s exterior scenes were filmed in Spain.

Interiors were produced at Warner Bros. studio complex in Hertfordshire, in the South of England.

‘Every day we walk past the Harry Potter Studios, and next door [was] Aquaman,’ he said.

His character is known as ‘Breakbones’ and is described as a ‘knight from House Strong, heir to Harrenhal’ and the ‘strongest man in the Seven Kingdoms’.

Ryan hinted that fans will see his character involved in romance, action and political intrigue since Ser Hawin Strong is a hunter and a knight.

The series was created by Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin and is based on his sprawling 2018 book Fire & Blood – a comprehensive history of the House Targaryen.
