Meanwhile, Rita is said to have ‘left locals furious by spending the COVID-19 lockdown at a rented farmhouse 150 miles away from her London abode’.

The media personality is reportedly staying with five people in a rural Cotswolds property in south-west England on a trip booked prior to the coronavirus pandemic gripping the nation, with the group working on her new album.

According to claims, her posse is also said to have been ‘shouted at by a farmer’ after they entered private land.

Yet despite the alleged furore surrounding her stay, a ‘friend’ told The Sun: ‘She is deadly serious about coronavirus lockdown and doing her bit by self- isolating and not travelling home.’

They also denied any ‘raucous parties’ or upsetting behaviour to locals. MailOnline contacted Rita’s representative for comment at the time of publication.

In the work department, the blonde is set to take part in BBC Radio 1’s biggest ever Live Lounge as she perform a newly recorded charity single alongside the likes of Dua Lipa,  Ellie Goulding, Sean Paul and Chris Martin amid the global crisis.
