Ricky Martin is having fun with his facial hair during lockdown from COVID-19.
The 49-year-old hitmaker has been giving his 14.9 million Instagram followers regular updates on his newly bleached beard with several photos that have been posted to his account.
The songwriter’s hair experiment was revealed not long before he began shooting a new music video in Puerto Rico.

On Sunday, Martin posted a selfie to his Instagram to announce that his Grammy Award for his 2020 EP Pausa had arrived.
The former Menudo member was pictured wearing a tan sweater; he kept his hood up while taking the photo.
His bleached facial hair, which is naturally brown, was on full view in the snap.
The singer first shared a photo of his hair color experiment on January 21 and wrote that he decided to change things up out of boredom in the post’s caption.

Four days after his initial post, Martin shared another selfie to give his followers a more comprehensive look at his facial hair.
The photo was taken on a picturesque Puerto Rican beach, and the tropical sun served to enhance the glow of the singer’s beautifully tanned skin.
Last Thursday, the hitmaker shared a duo of photos to his Instagram account and placed his bleached facial hair on full view in the snaps.
Martin wrote a short message in the post’s caption, which when translated from Spanish, read ‘Hey you!!! Much encouragement. Yes yes, to you. Smile.’

Martin has been collaborating on the upcoming project with fellow singer Carlos Vives, and the 59-year-old singer recently made two posts from the island to his Instagram account.
On Saturday, the songwriter shared an image of himself pointing at the camera, similarly to Martin’s post, while sitting in a car.
The native Colombian also added a short message in the caption, and like his collaborator, finished his statement with an encouragement for his followers to ‘smile.’
