Rebecca Judd reveals her bizarre home remedy that reduces inflammation during breast feeding  

She’s the glamorous WAG with a taste for the finer things in life.

But when it comes dealing with the pain of breastfeeding, Rebecca Judd, 37, swears by a surprisingly humble home remedy – lettuce leaves. 

Appearing on Monday’s episode of The 3pm Pick Up, the mother-of-four confessed: ‘The only thing that saved my boozies when I was breastfeeding Oscar (her eldest son) was a lettuce leaf!’ 

‘I tried all the meds… the Panadol, the Voltaren, nothing worked,’ the wife of AFL star Chris Judd said. 

Co-host Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond promptly poked fun at Rebecca for using lettuce to reduce mastitis, rather than the more commonly-used remedy of cabbage leaves.

‘You’re putting iceberg [lettuce] down there!’ Monty laughed.  

Rebecca has previously spoken about how her breasts became large, painful and ‘as hard as concrete’ after giving birth to Oscar eight years ago.  

‘I was a blubbering mess for two days with these bloody boobs, she told Now To Love in 2018. 

Rebecca said her breasts were ‘rock hard’ and felt like ‘touching a wall’. 

‘They were boiling hot. Burning hot,’ she recalled, adding: ‘They were so hard and it was really difficult to breastfeed because you have to nuzzle in to the boob to latch on to the nipple.’ 

‘But because they were rock hard it was almost like he couldn’t get on properly and it was really difficult,’ she said.

Rebecca is mother to four children – son Oscar, eight, daughter Billie, five, and twin sons Tom and Darcy, three.
