Rachael Finch has revealed her plans to buy a new Christmas tree after her two children, daughter Violet, six, and son Dominic, three, broke the previous one.

The 32-year-old model shared a video to Instagram stories on Wednesday, revealing her plans to purchase a new tree and put it up early ‘to get the kids excited’.

‘Another work from home day for me today but tomorrow I’m super excited… In the morning I’m going to go into Myer to select a new Christmas tree because during the spirit of the festivities last year, the kids broke the tree,’ she explained.

The model continued: ‘So I’m going to go in to get a new one and might do a bit of Christmas shopping.’

Rachael went on to say: ‘We might also put the tree up a bit early this year to get the kids excited.’

Meanwhile, her fellow Myer ambassador Kris Smith is also getting into the Christmas spirit.

The 42-year-old model shared a video to his Instagram, taking his followers on a tour of the store’s giftorium.

Kris said: ‘This has all of your Christmas needs. Just about everything for the kids to the Christmas tree.’

‘It’s all here, under one roof and in one spot. It’s nearly that time. Merry Christmas,’ he continued.

On Wednesday, Myer launched its ‘Bigger than Christmas’ campaign which includes a one-stop giftorium. 

Myer Chief Customer Officer Geoff Ikin said: ‘Our Bigger than Christmas campaign is about focusing on the joys of coming together and celebrating this Christmas like never before.’

‘For a year that’s been like no other, this campaign has never been more culturally relevant, and is something we will all be able to relate to. We hope it provides joy and inspiration for Australians to really celebrate this Christmas and, for that matter, all the other occasions that have been missed this year.’
