Quavo of Migos fame has finally graduated high school at the age of 29.

The rap hunk made the big reveal on his Instagram page last week with a playful album of himself in a cap and gown.

He initially went to high school in the Atlanta suburbs as a teenager but dropped out a decade ago during his senior year.

‘Finally Can Say I Graduated High School Class Of 2020 We Lit,’ he captioned his graduation album. ‘Now What College Should I Go To?’

The Georgia-born musician added: ‘And To Celebrate We Gonna Drop SMASH TONIGHT BERKMAR HIGH NAWFSIDE BABY.’

Berkmar High School in the Atlanta suburb of Lilburn was the high school he attended as a teenager and the one from which he has now secured his diploma.

He was starting quarterback of the football team in 2009 during senior year and the school’s head football coach John Thompson had warm words for him.

‘The kids respected him, and they played hard for him. I think they really liked him, too,’ said John in a 2015 Rolling Stone profile of Migos.

However Quavo confessed that ‘I couldn’t follow nobody’s rules’ and dropped out in the midst of senior year. ‘I knew I was going to be somebody.’

Quavo, whose Christian name is Quavious Marshall, rose to fame as part of the musical trio Migos with his relatives Offset and Takeoff.

Takeoff is the nephew of Quavo, who is Offset’s cousin, and the trio all grew up together in the Atlanta suburbs, according to a Spin profile from 2013.

All three of them were brought up by Quavo’s mother Edna Marshall whom they refer to as Mama, they shared in a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone.

Migos was founded in 2008 but they only became stars after releasing their 2013 debut single Versace while Offset was in jail for a probation violation.
