Pregnant Bindi Irwin, 22, shares an intimate message to new husband Chandler Powell

Wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin and new husband Chandler Powell will soon welcome their first child together. 

And on Monday, the 22-year-old shared an intimate message to her American wakeboarder beau. 

Bindi first shared a throwback of the married couple as they strolled along an empty beach hand-in-hand.

‘Two-years-ago this moment was captured,’ Bindi began. 

‘Adventuring through life with you is extraordinary. I love you with all my heart, Chandler Powell.’ 

The young couple are set to welcome their first child – a daughter – in 2021, and last month Bindi shared ultrasound footage of her growing baby. 

‘Our beautiful daughter is the light of our lives. Beyond thankful that she chose us to be her parents. I can’t wait for her to be here next year,’ Bindi wrote on Instagram at the time.

In the accompanying video, Bindi was seen in an ultrasound room as the camera panned across to show her unborn child projected on the screen.   

‘This is so exciting. Look at our daughter, she’s so beautiful,’ she gushed. 

Chandler, 24, could then be heard in the background saying: ‘Wow, you can see her heartbeat there. Oh my goodness, she is beautiful and very active.’  

The daughter of the late conservationist Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin is about 22-weeks pregnant with her first child.

She recently shared a picture to Instagram of herself wearing baggy overalls and revealed she was ‘halfway there’ in her pregnancy.

‘Twenty weeks pregnant and our baby girl is about the same size as a recently hatched emu chick,’ she said.  

‘The love I have for my sweetheart husband and our beautiful daughter is boundless.’

Bindi revealed she was pregnant in August, when she uploaded a photo to Instagram of herself and Chandler holding a tiny version of the Australia Zoo uniform.

The couple were married on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo just before the country went into COVID-19 lockdown.
