He’s considered by some to be an actor on the rise who hits the weights as part of his exercise regimen to stay in shape.

And in the last couple of days, Patrick Schwarzenegger has taken to Instagram to show off his ripped abs, and overall lean and long physique, after hitting the gym in his hometown of Los Angeles.

The son of legendary bodybuilding champion and Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger has been focused on sculpting his body during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working it: Patrick Schwarzenegger, 27, took to Instagram to show off his ripped abs, and overall lean and long physique, after hitting the gym Los Angeles the last couple of days

On Monday, the Midnight Sun star, 27, Patrick shared a mirror selfie of himself posing shirtless while pumping iron.

‘Time to gain some weight,’ he wrote along the bottom of the photo.  

For the photo, her flexed his abdominal muscles while wearing black shorts, a white baseball cap and white sneakers.

Being that he’s been on mission to transform his body, Schwarzenegger also shared a video on his Instagram Stories on Sunday.

It showed him working out his biceps by pounding out some sets of arm curls, dressed in another pair of black shorts and baseball cap.

’30 lbs each side. Not much but hard AF with bamboo bar and bands,’ he captioned the clip.

With the coronavirus crisis still very much a danger in Southern California, he made sure to wear a protective mask over his mouth and nose during his workout.          

Even with his focus on the gym, Schwarzenegger isn’t afraid to indulge in sweets, on occasion, especially when he’s hosting his Patrick’s Pints series on Instagram, where he shows off his ice cream collection at home and reviews a particular brand and flavor.

For this latest episode he tasted Everything Bagel Ice Cream by Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.

‘This is one of the best ice cream flavors I have ever had,’ he declared with a surprised tone to his voice.
