Pamela Anderson confesses she ‘didn’t like’ the Baywatch movie that starred Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

Pamela Anderson received international recognition for her role as CJ Parker in the hit action-drama series Baywatch from 1992 to 1997.

And now the television and Playboy model icon is opening up about her dislike of the 2017 Baywatch movie that starred Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Zac Efron.

‘I didn’t like it,’ Anderson boldly said during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

‘Let’s just keep the bad TV as bad TV. That’s what’s charming about Baywatch, you know? Trying to make these movies out of television, is just messing with it,’ she added.

Anderson, 52, then took another jab at the movie version by comparing the budgets of the two genres.

‘$65 million would make a good movie. We made our show for like $500,000,’ she proudly said.

‘You have the same explosions, the same sequences of water, that’s the fun part. Being creative.’

During the after-show segment Anderson confessed that she hasn’t stayed in touch with her former co-stars from the series which featured David Hasselhoff, Carmen Electra, Yasmine Bleeth, Brandon Call and Jeremy Jackson.

Anderson did make a cameo in the action-comedy remake that starred Kelly Rohrbach in her old role as C.J. Parker, as well as Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario and Priyanka Chopra.

The movie version was panned by critics for the most part but was still successful at the box office, earning $177.9 million on a $69 million budget.
