Paloma Faith has built quite the following over the years as one of Britain’s favorite pop stars.
But the Brit Award winner has yet to breakout among US listeners since making her debut back in 2009.
She recently revealed that her US crossover was stalled after she refused to reshoot a 2014 music video, because it featured her kissing a black man.

She added that a ‘very high-up exec who was African American’ told her that ‘this is the biggest chance we’ve got at breaking the States with your music career.’

She recently revealed how she chooses the dancers and the romantic counterparts to cast in her videos.
Faith told The Sun in May: ‘I don’t have dancers that often, but when I do I find them really hot. And when I’ve done videos and stuff with guys, I always fancy the guy. I just have the best job ever because I’m allowed to snog hunky, hot guys.
‘The problem is you’re not meant to use tongues because it then becomes intimate. So you have to pretend and not use tongues. If you stick a tongue in they know.’
