Paddy McGuinness looks unamused after his children ‘dye’ his hair with colouring pens 

He is currently in lockdown with his wife and their three children.

And Paddy McGuinness didn’t appear overly impressed by Friday afternoon’s isolation activities, as he shared a picture of his hair covered in colourful dye.  

The TV presenter, 46, joked that he ‘preferred his grey hair’ after his young children had covered his head with purple and red colouring pens.

Paddy pulled an unamused facial expression while showcasing his newly dyed hair, while captioning the snap: ‘I think I preferred the grey? #kids #stayhome #washyourhands #thisbettercomeout.’

However his wife Christine, 32, appeared keen on his new hair style, as she commented beneath the snap saying: ‘[laughing face emoji] suits you sir! [heart].

Paddy shares his three children, twins Penelope and Leo, both six, and Felicity, four, who all have autism, with his wife Christine.

Earlier this week, Paddy and Christine were transformed into cartoon versions of themselves to appear in a special episode of children’s cartoon, Daisy and Ollie.

The Channel 5 series is aimed a pre-school kids and will air a special episode on April 2 for World Autism Day. 

The special episode titled, How Do I Make Friends With Theo, will teach children how to befriend other kids who are autistic. 

The story will follow main character Daisy introduce Ollie to her cousin Theo, who finds it hard to adjust to him.

Paddy and Christine will play Theo’s parents and will help Ollie understand why Theo finds things difficult and how his autism means they understand things differently. 

The series’ voice cast is fronted by Jason Manford, who also writes and produces the show, and the team worked with the National Autism Society to make sure the portrayal is sensitive and accurate. 

Speaking about her role to the Metro, Christine shared: ‘As parents to three autistic children, we know how important it is for other children and families to understand autism, so voicing Theo’s parents in the show was a wonderful opportunity for us to share this important message.’

She added: ‘We will continue to spread awareness and help change society for our own little superstars and autistic people and their families.’ 

Earlier this year, the Real Housewives Of Cheshire star shared a poem to her Instagram page after learning her youngest daughter also had autism. 

Alongside the moving prose, she penned: ‘Recently our youngest daughter Felicity was also diagnosed with autism, three years after our twins Leo and Penelope were diagnosed. 

‘Going through this journey again does still bring some heartache knowing all three children will face challenges and difficulties that others won’t. 

‘But ultimately I feel confident as a family we are in a much stronger place, we are able to use our experience and knowledge as power helping us to feel well prepared.

‘We are here to love and support our three extra special children and I thank god every day these babies are mine.
