Osher Günsberg’s heartbreaking confession: The Bachelor host reveals his sadness as he isolates in Melbourne after The Masked Singer Australia was linked to the coronavirus outbreak

Osher Günsberg has been forced to self-isolate in Melbourne after the set of The Masked Singer Australia was hit by a COVID-19 outbreak. 

And on Thursday, the 46-year-old made a heartbreaking confession about his time in isolation. 

The Bachelor host revealed that he is desperately missing his wife Audrey Griffen and his family.

‘Missing @audreygriffen so much, however I know that my isolation is keeping others safe,’ he wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the couple. 

‘While it sucks being away from my family, I know that it’s to keep everyone in my family, my community, and my country safe.’ 

Accompanying the post was a throwback photo of Osher and his wife looking dolled up.

The Bachelorette host looked dashing in a back velvet suit jacket and white button up shirt. 

Meanwhile, Audrey was glam in a black long-sleeved dress and her long locks in loose curls. 

Osher welcomed his first child with Audrey, son Wolfgang ‘Wolfie’ Günsberg, in August 2019, and is also a stepfather to Georgia, 15, from Audrey’s previous relationship.

Osher ended his post with a plea to the public to do the right thing aid the pandemic.   

‘Wash your hands. ⁠Wear a mask. ⁠Keep your distance. ⁠You’re most infectious before you show symptoms. ⁠We have to think “we” not “me”‘ he wrote.  

His post comes after the set of The Masked Singer was completely shut down after seven dancers reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

‘Production on The Masked Singer has been immediately suspended as a result of several crew members receiving a positive test result for COVID-19,’ Network Ten said in a statement.  

‘The health and safety of the community, and our staff and production partners is our number one priority.

‘The entire production team, including the masked singers, the host and panellists are now in self-isolation. They are all being monitored closely and are in constant contact with medical authorities.’
