Olivia Attwood launches foul-mouthed rant after troll accuses her of using too much lip filler

Olivia Attwood launched into a foul-mouthed rant on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, after a fan accused her of using too much lip filler.

As the erstwhile Love Island star, 28, waited for a laser hair removed appointment, she shared a direct message sent to her from one of her fans, who urged her stop enhancing her lips – sparking a series of impassioned videos.

Accusing middle-aged women of being the main culprits when it came to criticising her looks, the TV personality urged her followers to ‘mind [their] own f**king business’ as she insisted that they had no right to an opinion on her appearance.

Hitting back: Olivia Attwood launched into a foul-mouthed rant on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, after a fan accused her of using too much lip filler

In footage recorded in her car, she said: ‘I’m not gonna sit here and pretend that I am someone that suffers with trolling, because I actually feel like, compared to a lot of people, I’m very lucky in that sense.

‘But this s**t grinds my gears so f**king bad. I must see these kind of messages more than anything. And they’re so good, because there’s always a backhanded compliment in there.

‘And it’s always unfortunately a middle-aged woman. I hate to stereotype, but it always, always, always, is. And maybe the reason I don’t get that much trolling is because I always will message people back.

‘You don’t know what I need, and also it’s none of your f**king business! If I want my mouth to look like a swollen b***hole, that is my choice. Don’t tell me, “You’re pretty, you don’t need [it]…”

‘F**k off! F**k off, get on with your day, get out of my DMs, that’s it’s it. So anyone else that’s got any like, “You don’t need those hair extensions…” B***h, you don’t know what I need. F**k off!’

Reiterating her message that fans should mind their own business, she continued: ‘We live in this climate where everyone’s so bothered by what everyone else is doing.

‘I have never looked at someone, even someone that’s screwed themselves up massively with surgery, if that’s what they want, get on with it. It’s doesn’t affect my day. If that makes them happy, who cares?

‘Why is everyone so bothered about what other people look like? And just because you’ve put a compliment at the end, it doesn’t mean that what you said in the beginning isn’t rude and hurtful. Just keep it moving, saddos.’

She also insisted that her status as a public figure doesn’t give others the right to comment on her appearance, as she added: ‘And don’t say, “You’ve got a following, you’ve been on TV, so we all get an opinion on the way you look…”

‘No you don’t! You can get an opinion on some stuff – what I do or what I say, bring it on. I love it. But what I do to my face and body, just p**s off!’

In the message in question, the follower wrote to Olivia: ‘Please stop with the lip fillers. Ur not a duck. Ur so pretty already and U don’t need them.’ [sic]

Clearly irked, the reality star wrote back: ‘Mind your own f**king business!! And keep your opinions to your self!’ prompting the response: ‘Real unclassy as always. Unfollowed. Thanks.’

The fan had commented on a picture of Olivia with her fiancé Bradley Dack, which she shared at the start of the week as they returned to the same place in Dubai where he’d proposed to her.

Captioning the image, which showed the lovebirds relaxing together in the sunshine, she wrote: ‘So last time we were here… you asked me to marry you, now the question is .. how has that questioned aged for you pal?

‘All jokes aside, you are an annoying man child and a grumpy wheel chair passenger lol.. but not a day goes by when I don’t feel grateful for having you in my life and making me feel a love I didn’t even know existed… thank you for the best holiday.’

Olivia found fame during the third series of ITV reality show Love Island, and has since gone on to star in The Only Way Is Essex and Celebs Go Dating.

Earlier in February, Olivia revealed she had to take a social media break after former Love Island host Caroline Flack’s tragic death.

During a heartfelt video explaining her decision to quit social media for a few days, Olivia revealed that Caroline reached out to her when she was ‘getting so much heat’ during her time on the ITV2 series three years ago.

Sharing their first messages on Instagram before becoming friends, Olivia penned: ‘Message to my sister/best mate when she was looking after my account when I was in the villa,’ followed by a tear and broken heart emoji.

The exchange saw Caroline reach out to Olivia’s family, who were managing her account while she was in Love Island, she said: ‘I just think she’s strong and I know what it’s like to deal with that online stuff … always support my girls x.’

Olivia’s family messaged back with: ‘Thank you so much for all your support! Means so much to all of us supporting Olivia,’ followed by a heart emoji.

In her heartfelt video, Olivia admitted she had to take a break from social media as it was getting ‘a bit too much’.

Olivia lamented the fact that everyone is quick to ‘jump on social media’ and ‘start pointing the finger, blaming each other’, but asked where all this support was when Caroline needed it.
