Nikki Osbourne believes she has found a way to relieve some of the tension caused by the coronavirus pandemic. 

The comedian shared a throwback photo to Instagram on Friday, taken during a recent Italian vacation.  

The 38-year-old encouraged others to share similar images, in the hope of boosting morale during this dark time.

The recent I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia contestant captioned the snap with a hopeful suggestion. 

She wrote: ‘I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but I actually miss everyone’s gratuitous European holiday trip photos.’ 

The funnywoman added: ‘Perhaps we should be posting those pics to boost morale?’

 In the photo she shared, Nikki is wearing a bright yellow dress as she strides around a busy waterside restaurant strip. 

The photograph was tagged as having been taken on the Italian Riviera, in Portofino. 

The region has been ravaged by COVID-19, with 41,035 cases diagnosed as of Friday.

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia rose to 877 as of Friday afternoon.
