‘I don’t want to go through life without experiencing it’: Nicole Kidman’s sister Antonia Kidman reveals she has been thinking about adding to her family

Antonia Kidman has revealed that she’s been thinking about adding to her family of six.

The journalist-turned-lawyer, 49, wrote in a column for 9Honey on Thursday that she’s considering getting a dog.

Now that her family has relocated back to Australia and live in a house with a sizeable backyard – after almost a decade of living in Singapore –  she said the idea of getting a family pooch was on the cards.

She wrote that the love a dog owner has for their pet ‘seems so unconditional, solid and enormous and I don’t want to go through life without experiencing it.’

Antonia – who has never owned a dog before – explained that she was putting it off because she did not want to commit to a dog that would need plenty of attention, training and care.

She said they were considering a puppy, which she compared to the arrival of a new baby, but did not want to be the one lumped with all the responsibilities – even if her children assured her they would take care of it.
