Nicky Hilton Rothschild is putting her star power to good use to raise awareness about the tragic reality of human trafficking through an empowering new fashion campaign to benefit survivors.
In honor of women’s history month in March, Nicky brought together the LifeWay Network, an organization which houses and helps heal human trafficking survivors, and luxury fashion label Alice + Olivia.
Hilton spoke exclusively with DailyMailTV about the collection and brought in a special model, sister Paris Hilton, to showcase the items in a mini fashion show at the Alice + Olivia flagship store in West Hollywood.

Nicky is a longtime champion for the survivors of human trafficking so to help bring the grave issue to light, she facilitated the stunning Alice + Olivia x Lakwena collection.
It is a bright and beautiful a partnership between Nicky, AO designer Stacey Bendet and artist Lakwena, and proceeds will be donated to LifeWay Network.
‘The LifeWay Network is an organization which provides housing and healing for human trafficking survivors,’ Nicky told DailyMailTV.
The 36-year-old attended a panel about four years ago on human trafficking and said she was surprised about how little people were speaking about it.

Globally, the sheer number of people being bought and sold is staggering and according to stats from LifeWay, ‘an estimated 40.3 million people are in modern slavery.’
Human trafficking is a $150 billion industry and sadly, Nicky said, ‘it’s growing and growing and growing.’
When Nicky worked to put together her Fashion for a Cause collection, she immediately turned to Stacey Bendet.
‘Stacey Bendet, who’s a very close friend of mine,’ Nicky explained, ‘is all about empowering women. She and her brand employ over 400 women and she wanted to do a collection that really gave back to women.’

Stepping in: After attending a panel on human trafficking nearly four years ago, Nicky felt that she needed to find away to help survivors and bring the shocking statistics to light

Nicky asked her sister Paris to join her and DailyMailTV to model the colorful pieces, and Paris was quick to jump on board.
‘I love the collection. I think it’s just so beautiful,’ Paris said while wearing a pink AO slip dress and the Lakwena kimono.
The cheerful ensemble featured a silken kimono with thick vertical stripes of bold colors that read ‘lift you higher’ on the back.
‘I love the colors,’ Paris added. ‘This is for an amazing cause and Nicky and Stacey have such big hearts to do a collection like this and just raise awareness. And it’s also beautiful fashion.’

Additionally, Alice + Olivia will be wrapping all their flagship stores in major cities in the Lakwena artwork with human trafficking statics in the window displays.
Through LifeWay, the mother of two recently launched her Wings Mentorship Program, which is funded through the Hilton Foundation.
‘Wings stands for Women Inspiring New Growth as Sisters,’ she said. ‘I wanted to help build a program that made that transition from leaving LifeWay a bit easier.’

After co-hosting an event for the collection launch, Nicky has been busy promoting her Fashion for a Cause campaign. She was spotted making press appearances in New York on Monday, rocking the sequin ‘power’ top from the collection.
She is set to be honored for her work with LifeWay, which has three safe houses in New York for trafficking survivors, later this month on March 14.

Nicky told DailyMailTV: ‘We just launched this spring collection, which I’m very excited about. It’s very feminine and girly, full of cotton candy colored pastels’
Her pastel colored line is perfect for the warmer weather months and she has several styles of her perennial go-to shoe, ballet flats.
‘I just think there’s such a nice combination of elegance and comfort,’ Nicky told DailyMailTV. ‘We just launched this spring collection, which I’m very excited about. It’s very feminine and girly, full of cotton candy colored pastels.’

Nicky, who is mom to two little girls with husband James Rothschild, said her daughters remind her of herself and Paris when they were little.
‘I love seeing sisters,’ she gushed. ‘There’s no relationship like it in the world.
‘You have a built in best friend for life. And I know we have our girlfriends and our best friends, but there’s just some things that you can only share with your sister.’
