Nick Jonas gets sprayed in the face while battling Jimmy Fallon in lyric game Slay It Don’t Spray It

Even with his wide music knowledge Nick Jonas wasn’t safe from Jimmy Fallon’s antics.

The 27-year-old took on the Tonight Show host in the game Slay It, Don’t Spray It that tasked them with finishing a top song’s lyrics.

Despite getting all of his lyrics correct, Nick still got two big sprays in the face due to Jimmy.

Guest of honor: Nick Jonas stopped by The Tonight Show and chatted with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night

For his visit to the show he rocked a stylish look in hues of grey.

He paired leopard print grey and black pants with a short grey trench coat.

While for tops he opted for a white and back leopard top to match his bright white sneakers.

Slay It, Don’t Spray It asks the contestants (Jimmy and a guest) to finish the lyrics to popular songs, if they get the missing lyrics right, their opponent gets soaked in the face, if they get it wrong they get soaked.

For the final round, Jimmy and his guest sing a duet and they both need to get the lyric right to avoid getting sprayed.

Nick sang first, and was given I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry, with a great tune, he correctly sang the missing lyrics ‘Don’t mean I’m in love tonight,’ leaving Jimmy sprayed in the face.

Next, Jimmy was tasked with singing along to Drops of Jupiter by Train to which he simply said ‘Oh gosh,’ when the song was revealed.

He wasn’t able to get the missing lyrics ‘One without a permanent star,’ right and instead said ‘One time I played guitar,’ getting sprayed again.

Nick sang ‘A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it,’ correctly and Jimmy was three for three in getting sprayed.

I know this: Jimmy's last solo song was fittingly The Jonas Brothers' hit Sucker, the host seemed pleased saying to Nick 'you know I know this song, I love this song'
