Nick Jonas reveals exes should never get back together during The Voice’s Knockout Rounds… and then eats his words later in the show
Nick Jonas professed he doesn’t think anyone should get back with an ex on Monday’s episode of The Voice.
During the Knockout Rounds, the Jonas Brothers singer tried to steal soul crooner Cammwess for his team after he was let go by John Legend.
But, feeling like he made a big mistake, Legend tried to lure him back.
That’s when Jonas jumped in and issued a warning about not returning to someone who has already dumped you.
Nick Jonas professed he doesn’t think anyone should get back with an ex when he tried to steal Cammwess on Monday’s episode of The Voice.
‘I’m going to jump in right away and say the same thing I’ve ever said to any friend who’d getting back with an ex: ‘Why? Why would you do that?’
Legend wasted little time in hitting back with a happy ending theory.
‘But sometimes they get back together and they get married and they live happily ever after,’ he said.

Both Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson shot down Legend’s idea of a happy ending for exes who reunite.
Although it appeared most people agreed with Jonas and his assertion, Cammwess ultimately decided to ‘go back home’ and return to Team John, even though he had previously dumped him.
‘Rejection never feels good,’ Jonas said in response to Cammwess’ decision.
‘It’s okay, I hope he’s happy with his ex.’

Jonas ended up being somewhat of a hypocrite, when later in the show he and Shelton both tried a double steal for Joanna Serenko, formerly of Team Nick.
‘I made the argument before about getting back with an ex,’ Jonas said while his fellow judges laughed off his explanation.
‘Ive had a sudden change of heart about this issue.’
In the end, his strategy didn’t work out, when Serenko chose to join Team Blake.
