Sam and Phoebe Burgess reportedly finalised their divorce just before Christmas, after five tumultuous years of marriage.
And to celebrate officially becoming single, Phoebe revealed on Wednesday she was heading on a road trip with her children, Poppy, three, and Billy, two.
Just days after Sam was pictured taking the kids to Coogee Beach, his ex-wife confirmed they were heading off to a mystery destination with her mother, Sarah Hooke, in the driver’s seat.

‘Off we go. Holiday,’ Phoebe wrote alongside a video of herself, in which she whisked off her sunglasses and beamed at the camera.
Phoebe then showed off her mother’s ring collection as she held on to the steering wheel, and joked: ‘Mum with the stacking goods.’
In a rather bittersweet moment, Phoebe then flashed the camera to her own, ringless hand, which she simply captioned: ‘Me’.
While her engagement finger was bare, Phoebe did sport two gold bands on her little finger, and accessorised with a string of silver bangles on her wrist.
She also updated fans on how her children were coping with the journey, writing: ’20 minutes in, they’ve finally stopped lobbing toys at us and are passing out.’

The Burgesses separated in September 2019, and reportedly legally divorced last month, just before Christmas.
Phoebe is said to have walked away with 70 per cent of the couple’s marital wealth, including Sam’s F45 gym franchise, which she has since sold.
The former journalist, who now promotes herself as a brand ambassador, also kept a $100,000 Range Rover, which she is regularly seen driving around Bowral.
The exes sold their property in Maroubra in January last year for $5million.

Meanwhile, they remain involved in an ugly legal dispute following their split.
Sam is accused of intimidating Phoebe’s father, Mitchell Hooke, at his Southern Highlands home on October 19, 2019.
The ex-Rabbitohs player is also charged with common assault in relation to the same alleged incident. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Police have also taken out an interim AVO to allegedly protect Mr Hooke from Sam, who has had no contact with his former father-in-law for more than a year.
The hearing will continue at Moss Vale Local Court on January 22.
