Janet Jackson has solidified her status as a musical icon with a career spanning the past four decades.

And the five-time Grammy winner befits an equally iconic birthday, even while stuck in quarantine.

Her pal Naomi Campbell wished her a happy 54th Saturday, as she took to Instagram with a cute selfie with the Poetic Justice star.

She wrote in the caption: ‘Happy Birthday Queen @janetjackson !! Sweetest pure soul I’ve ever met , always humble and such a loyal and honest supportive sister. 

‘May this day and Newyear bring you joy , love and so many blessings !! Always keeping it 100 !! Love you so much.’

In another celebration of life, the birthday girl is reportedly the topic of an upcoming biopic, which halted development amid COVID-19. 

Campbell is preparing to celebrate a big birthday of her own, as she gets ready to turn 50 on May 22. 

She recently said on her YouTube: ‘Frankly, if I am here on May 22, in isolation, I’m blessed. I’m not afraid of 50. I’m going to be spending my 50th here. I’m fine with it.’

And the supermodel isn’t gonna let age hold her back from work: ‘I don’t like the word “retire.” If I don’t wanna do it any more, I just won’t do it.’

She seems to be staying busy amid the global pandemic, taking to Instagram Saturday from a private plane, rocking a full hazmat suit. 

Campbell recently photographed herself from home for the 50th anniversary cover of Essence.

She said in the interview: ‘While it was a sad reminder for me of all the people in media and production who are not able to work due to the coronavirus, it also brought me hope and encouragement to know that our people and our infrastructures are resilient.’
