‘Arthur copies everything, and he’s become quite clingy with you, hasn’t he?’ says Billie to husband Greg, before viewers are given a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a family photoshoot.

While sitting with sister Nelly on their mum’s knee, Arthur begins shouting out: ‘B****ks… Boll—oh…ks,’ leaving the photographer looking extremely awkward.

Shocked and confused, Billie asks: ‘What? Shush! Stop, stop, now!’ as her smiling son innocently continues blaring out the profanity at the top of his lungs.

Greg tells his son: ‘I’m really upset with you,’ as Billie asks her husband: ‘Where’s that come from?’

Speaking to camera, the mother-of-two admits: ‘When he said that word, I wanted the ground to swallow me up, because instantly you feel like a bad parent. You feel like everyone’s judging you.’

Greg agrees, adding: ‘Well where’s he heard that one then?’ before revealing: ‘It slipped out from my sister’s mouth!’

‘Snitch!’ laughs Billie, before Greg chuckles: ‘She’ll be getting a telling off for this,’ and added: ‘Kids are kids at the end of the day. He doesn’t know what it means.’

The new series of Sam and Billie: The Mummy Diaries continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITVBe.

Arthur’s swearing incident comes after Billie’s sister Samantha gathered her two young offspring to circle their desired Christmas presents from a catalogue during last week’s episode.

With only one brochure between them, they refused to share. Angered by the situation, baby Paul, 4, smacked his mother and ran off to hide in a cupboard.

In a piece to camera, Sam explained: ‘That was a major mummy error only having one catalogue’ before proceeding to sit in the cupboard with her son, encouraging him to circle as many toys as possible.
