Mischa Barton slams rumored replacement Caroline D’Amore in scathing post (AND insults her brand)

On Tuesday, it was reported that Mischa Barton was ‘too boring’ on The Hills reboot and producers replaced her with her pal Caroline D’Amore.

And one day later, Mischa Barton slammed the report as well as threw an array of insults at Caroline in a harsh statement posted on her Instagram, along with a screengrab of an Us Weekly report.

Caroline responded to the snarky comments by the actress with a photo of herself holding up a Pizza Girl sign as she called Mischa a ‘bully.’

Mischa held nothing back as she shot down the rumors; she wrote: ‘Lol. Where do people get their reporting from?’

The actress threw jabs at Carolina, who appears to be a former friend, in the statement – as well as insulting her pizza empire; The insults come as a surprise, as the duo spent time together at Mischa’s birthday party last year.

Mischa scathingly wrote: ‘As if anyone would watch @Carolinedamore try to hoc her boring a** pasta bowls and greasy pizza on tv. Tried that it was like watching paint dry. Get the story straight first @usweekly.’

Caroline appeared to take the high road in the new feud, but not without a small jab to the former OC star – sharing an image of herself appearing to stop herself from laughing – with her Pizza Girl logo in hand.

Caroline wrote: ‘Thank you for the sudden surge in @pizzagirl sales this morning. #sellingitout #notstoopingtoyourlevel @mischabarton REAL women don’t bully other women, adding a pizza and red lips emoji.

Mischa, who started in the first season of the spinoff, is not coming back to the reality series, according to a report by TMZ that was published Tuesday.

The former OC actress, 34, was the only one not asked to return for season two because producers thought her story line was ‘a bit bland,’ and her personality ‘a little boring,’ the outlet had reported.

Hollywood socialite Caroline D’Amore, who is also close friends with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, was named in the report as her replacement.
