Minnie Driver set to star in season 2 of Amazon Prime’s anthology series Modern Love

Amazon has commissioned a second season of anthology series Modern Love and Minnie Driver will star.

The casting news was reported by Variety on Wednesday.

Nothing is known about the character the British actress, 51, will play or who else might be starring in new episodes.

The series is based on popular stories published in the New York Times.

The first season that aired on the streaming platform in 2019 starred a host of big names including Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Andy Garcia, Dev Patel and Catherine Keener. 

Based on the NY Times’ Modern love column, the series comprised of standalone episodes is billed as ‘an exploration of love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms.’
