Mindy Kaling shared a sweet snap of her daughter Katherine, three, as she watched Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden’s Inauguration ceremony.
The actress, 41, took to Instagram on Wednesday to mark the momentous occasion and showed her eldest child as she was completely transfixed by the ceremony.
Watching as Harris took her oath of office, Mindy’s daughter asked excitedly if she was her mother as she ‘looked like’ her.

Harris made history Wednesday as she became the first Black, South Asian and female U.S. Vice President.
And Mindy wrote in the caption that her daughter said: ‘I was at work, but apparently she said: “Is that mommy? It looks like mommy.”‘
The Mindy Project star added: ‘Best compliment I ever got! It matters. Happy Inauguration everyone.’
Mindy is currently hard at work as she’s co-writing the long-awaited Legally Blonde 3 film alongside her pal Reese Witherspoon.

Meanwhile, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger said he was ‘rooting’ for the 46th president as the world watched the new administration get sworn in during the ceremony at the Capitol in Washington, D.C.
